Los Angeles witnessed widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans worldwide joined local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Local events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the third time we’re going to achieve this,” the star player stated through an interpreter.
The procession path concluded at the stadium, where the team emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and Ice Cube driving a light blue vintage Cadillac around the stadium’s outfield.
