Conservative governors in numerous US territories have assigned National Guard troops on alert in anticipation of massive gatherings resisting Donald Trump and his initiatives.

Rally Scale and Planning

Planners of the "Anti-Monarchy" initiative declared that gatherings are planned at over 2,500 locations around the country.

According to rally coordinators, the last Anti-Authoritarian protest in June attracted exceeding five million attendees opposing Trump's governmental approach.

State Responses

Executives in the Lone Star State and the Old Dominion have formally activated their state's National Guard forces, though the level of defense presence remains unclear.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott mentioned the "organized antifa-linked demonstration" as justification for mobilizing regional troops.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin likewise ordered activation of the commonwealth's National Guard forces.

Political Responses

Demonstration organizers portrayed the events as resistance to Trump's "authoritarianism."

"Trump considers his rule is total," organizers claim on their website.

"But in America, we oppose kings and we won't back down against turmoil, dishonesty, and cruelty."

Several conservatives have labeled the protests as "Unpatriotic" events.

Kansas Senator Roger Marshall according to sources stated prior to the protests: "It's necessary to deploy the National Guard."

"Hopefully it'll be calm. I doubt it," he added.

Democratic Position

Democratic officials condemned the mobilization of National Guard personnel.

Texas Democrat Gene Wu contended: "Dispatching weapon-carrying soldiers to suppress calm rallies is what kings and tyrants do — and Greg Abbott just demonstrated he's one of them."
